May Lambert correspondence and photographs, 1902-1907.

Personal letters written by May (Mae in later letters) Lambert (Mrs. D.E. Lambert) to her friend Joseph A. Mitchell, who had various addresses in Nevada and Idaho. Lambert discusses her life as she moves between Idaho, Washington, and Colorado, commenting on daily activities, pastimes, and entertainments in various mining camps and in Denver, Colo., as well as on travel in the West during the early years of the twentieth century. There are also a few photographs which were sent to Mitchell, the result of Lambert's attempts to learn photography and film developing.
